• Import Export Code (IEC) is mandatory for importing and exporting of goods and services from India. IEC Certificate is issued by DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade ). Now it is e-IEC PAN based. Previously issued IEC Certificate need to migrate into e-IEC with updated details. IEC registration is permanent registration for lifetime and no renewal is required. IEC Certificate is valid until the business exists or the registration is revoked or surrendered. IEC Certificate holders does not require to file any periodical return or any other mandatory compliances like GST Registration.
